What is Data Breach?
Data Breach is an incident where information is stolen or taken from a system without the knowledge or authorization of the system's owner. Stolen information from users can include sensitive, proprietary, or confidential information such as credit card numbers, customer data, trade secrets, or matters of national security. This incident can occur in any websites such as known social media applications: Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. Ways that data breach can occur is through Physical actions, Unauthorized use, Malware, Social engineering, human error, and criminal hacking.

To avoid data breach, experts believe that the first step in managing confidential information is to start with security. We may lessen the danger of a data breach down the line by making conscious decisions about the type of information we gather, how long we retain it, and who we give access to it.
